Doctor - patient relationship is based on the belief and confident that each and every patient has on the doctor. It not based on any principles, or laws or also no rules and regulations for doctor and patient relation ship. The legal concept of doctor- patient relation is that of privilege. The legal right of privilege implicates to withhold the ethical duties with secrecy. Doctor- patient has a special relationship from which confidentiality roots out when a patient asks for suggestion, treatment to a physician. It is general assumption that a person seeking for medical help should be reserve and hamper by fear that their health condition or concerns will be known to others. Sometimes patients show their knowledge to their doctors, such that their will be created an uneven relation between doctor- patient. Confidentiality increases the communication of doctor- patient relation not only in that way it also extends to the medical records of the patient like some common tests, and anything that you say privately to your doctor.

The doctor will identify the problem that the patient has and gives opinion about what to do further. According to the law the doctor can take privilege on the patient, for example, if the patient has an unstable mind without the patient’s permission the doctors can warn whoever tortures or disturbs the patient a lot. This legal privilege of doctor and patient relation will vary from state to state. But the doctors at the worst case cannot be conscious in being confidential.
